Detectives release composite of assault suspects

On July 28, 2002, at 4:00 a.m., a 25-year-old Portland resident was walking in the 2600 block of Southwest Spring Garden Road when he was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle. When police arrived, the officer believed he heard the victim identify the suspect. Later, when contacted by an assault detective, the victim informed police that he had been misunderstood at the time of the original contact. The victim now describes the three suspects as:

Suspect #1-a White or Hispanic Male, 23-25 years old, approximately 5' 10" tall with a stocky build, smooth olive complexion, brown eyes, and brown wavy hair.

Suspect #2-a White Male, 21-23 years old, approximately 5' 8" tall with a thin build, light blue or green eyes, "dishwater" blonde hair, tanned skin, and faint facial hair.

Suspect #3-a White Female, 21-23 years old, approximately 5' 7" tall with blue eyes, brown hair with blond highlights, a muscular build, and tanned complexion.
