Crime Stoppers for the Week of December 30, 2002

December 31, 2002 00:00

Portland Police, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, are asking for your help in locating and apprehending Sang Thanh Nguyen. A felony arrest warrant, charging Nguyen with Assault in the First Degree, is on file in Multnomah. The warrant stems from an incident where Nguyen and his brother, who is already in custody, reportedly beat a known acquaintance, causing the victim severe brain and head trauma.

Sang Thanh Nguyen is a 25-year old Asian male with a date of birth of January 14, 1977. Nguyen is 5'2" tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. Nguyen may be staying in Southeast, or deep Southeast Portland, but his parents live in Northeast Portland and it is believed he has been coming and going from there.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, which leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony crime, and you need not give your name. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP.
