The suspect is described as a Male White, 28-38 years old, 5'9" to 5' 10" tall, with wavy collar length hair, clean shaven, athletic or strong build (not a body builder). The suspect had a smooth straight nose and had no eye glasses. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and jeans. The suspect smelled of cigarette smoke but not alcohol. The suspect may have sustained injury to his head or hand.
Detectives are actively seeking leads in this investigation. Area residents are cautioned to be aware of their surroundings, particularly late at night. Call 9-1-1 to report any suspicious activity. The Portland Police Bureau is also asking anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the area of Northeast 15th Avenue and Northeast Hancock Street in the past few weeks, or anyone who may have information in this investigation, to call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357). Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case or any unsolved felony crime.
