Crime Stoppers for the Week of December 1, 2003

The Marion County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating and apprehending Miguel Arrellano-Valenciano. A felony arrest warrant, charging Arrellano-Valenciano with Two Counts of Manslaughter, is on file. The charges stem from a two-car head-on crash where Arrellano-Valenciano, driving on the wrong side of the road and with a blood alcohol level in excess of the legal limit, killed both the passenger in his car and the driver of an oncoming vehicle. The crash occurred on May 10, 2003, at approximately 2:35 in the morning, at 17210 Boones Ferry Road NE, just north of Woodburn, Oregon.

The passenger, who died in the 1997 Ford Taurus Arrellano-Valenciano was driving, was identified as 26-year-old Usbaldo Valenciano. The oncoming vehicle was an F-250 Ford pickup. The driver, who died and was alone in the vehicle, was identified as 32-year-old George Dilsaver.

Miguel Arellano-Valenciano, is a 22-year-old Hispanic Male, with a date of birth of March 4, 1981. Arellano-Valenciano is 5'9" tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his forehead from the crash. Arellano-Valenciano, who has used the alias of Jose Mores Ribes and a date of birth of March 4, 1979, is reportedly traveling about the metro area and has been seen as far north as Kelso, Washington and as far south as Woodburn, Oregon.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony crime, and you need not give your name. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
