Crime Stoppers for the Week of February 2, 2004

February 06, 2004 00:00

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating and apprehending David Alan Dedmore. Warrants, charging Dedmore with Failure to Appear, on original charges of Criminal Mistreatment in the first degree and Assault in the third degree, are on file in Clackamas County. The warrants stem from an incident where Dedmore is accused of repeatedly striking an 11- month old boy in the head, with his hands, causing substantial injuries to the child.

Dedmore knows he has warrants outstanding for his arrest and has avoided authorities to this point. Detectives believe he is still in the Portland area.

David Alan Dedmore is a 22-year old male, with a date of birth February 23, 1981. Dedmore is 5'6'' tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony crime, and you need not give your name. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).

***Update*** David Dedmore turned himself in.
