Peter Parvin Shankar is wanted on multiple counts of sex abuse in the first degree. There is a $500,000 bail warrant for his arrest, out of Multnomah County. Shankar disappeared at about the same time the warrant was issued, and his whereabouts are unknown.
Detectives say he has contacts out of state and could have headed to California or left the country headed for Canada. The possibility exists he may have fled to the Pacific island of Fiji.
Shankar is a 33-year-old male of East Indian descent. He is about 5’7’’, 160lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He is prohibited from purchasing or possessing a firearm.
