Portland Police, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, would like your help in finding a fugitive.
26-year-old Rusty Rean is on the run from his parole officer and police. A convicted felon, Rean is on post prison supervision and he is wanted on an outstanding felony parole violation and other warrants.
Police would also like to speak with Rean regarding a shooting that took place in Northeast Portland on August 2, 2004. During that incident five people were wounded as they stood outside a warehouse turned club near Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Northeast San Rafael. Police believe Rean may have information useful in that investigation.
Rean does not have an established address and he often stays with friends or relatives. There is no specific vehicle associated with him and he does not have a regular job. These factors make it difficult to predict where he might go at any given time.
Rean is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has dirty blonde hair, recently cut short, and hazel eyes. He has tattoos including one on his left arm that reads “HCG187.” Rean may be armed, and should be considered dangerous.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you may remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
