Crime Stoppers Of The Week

November 17, 2004 00:00

The Oregon State Police, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, would like your help finding a wanted person. 33-year-old Brent Andrew Catello is wanted in Clackamas County on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants.

His warrants include Burglary I (three counts), Burglary II (four counts), Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle, Eluding a Police Officer, and Failure to Appear warrants for Theft I, PCS, and Identity Theft (two counts). Total bail is $40, 000.

An investigation by the Oregon State Police led to Catello’s indictment on these charges. The investigation also led to the recovery of over $25,000 in property, much of which has been returned to the over 52 known victims. Catello is believed to be responsible for theft related crimes all over the metro area.

Catello was released from the Multnomah County Detention Center in May and police have not been able to find him since then.

Catello is a white male, about 5’9”, 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Police know he has lived in east Portland, Gresham, and Sandy.

A photo of Catello is attached.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you may remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
