The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, needs your help identifying and finding the suspect in a homicide.
On Saturday, March 05, 2005, 1:49 am, Portland Police responded to an altercation or possible stabbing in the parking lot of the Da Da Di bar at the Wing Wa Barbeque King at 2788 Southeast 82nd Avenue.
Officers arrived and found the body of 21-year-old Tony B. Moonney. Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and initiated an investigation. Investigators spent the next several hours processing the crime scene and collecting close to eighty pieces of evidence. Detectives have determined that as many as twenty to twenty-five people were involved in a fight armed with bricks, bottles, and at least one stabbing instrument. Two other males and one female were injured during the fight. All three additional victims have serious injuries but none has life threatening injuries.
Saturday afternoon, the Multnomah County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined that Moonney died of multiple stab wounds. For the safety of the three surviving victims, their names are being withheld at this time.
Detectives have no suspect information to release at this time.
