June 01, 2005 00:00

The Portland Police, and Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers would like your help in identifying and locating an armed robbery suspect.

On April 1, 2005 a little after 9:00 a.m. the suspect robbed the Taco Bell at 1940 N.E. 122nd. He was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the employee at the counter. He left in an unknown direction.

On April 22, 2005 at about 9:30 a.m. police believe the same suspect robbed the Taco Bell on Jantzen Beach. Again he was armed with a handgun.

On May 11, 2005 at about 9:15 a.m. another Taco Bell was robbed at gunpoint. This time the incident occurred in Clackamas County at 16040 S.E. 82nd Drive. Police believe the same it’s the same suspect.

In each robbery the suspect was wearing a ski mask over his face. After the Clackamas robbery, however, the suspect was seen leaving the scene with the mask off. A witness who saw the suspect worked with a police artist who drew a sketch of the suspect.

The suspect is described as male, 6’ to 6’2”, approximately 220 to 260 pounds. He had a thin mustache and a mole on one cheek. He may be of Pacific Island descent.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you may remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
