NOTICE OF PENDING WIRELESS INSTALLATION IN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY

 

MEETING DATE: Tuesday, January 28, 2014.

PROPOSAL: AT & T Mobility proposes to install new wireless communication antennas on a replacement Pacific Power utility pole at 4734 NE Cully Blvd that will provide in building coverage for voice, data and broadband services in this area. Accessory equipment is proposed to be located inside a wood-frame equipment shelter behind the building on the adjacent lot.
PROPOSED TIMELINE: AT&T anticipates construction commencing and complete in late summer (3rd quarter), 2014.

PURPOSE OF MEETING:  The City seeks to balance the increased demand for mobile wireless services while providing timely and adequate prior notification.  This pre-application informational neighborhood meeting is solely intended to provide information to interested parties and to allow such parties to provide comments, information regarding the project and proposed aesthetic and design options for the company to consider.  The City will not consider options modified or rejected by the carrier as part of its process.   City of Portland Administrative Rule UTL-3.07.
