NOTICE OF PENDING WIRELESS INSTALLATION IN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY


MEETING DATE: Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

PROPOSAL: AT & T Mobility proposes to replace an existing PGE utility pole at this location to allow for installation of wireless communication antennas that will provide in building coverage for voice, data and broadband services in this area, as well as outdoor coverage for the greater commercial areas along Lombard. Ancillary equipment is proposed to be located in the rear yard of the adjacent building, behind a screen wall.

PROPOSED TIMELINE: AT&T anticipates construction commencing and complete in late summer (3rd quarter), 2014. Information about the proposal will be available on the following website by the day of the meeting: http://engage.att.com/wireless4oregon/

PURPOSE OF MEETING: The City seeks to balance the increased demand for mobile wireless services while providing timely and adequate prior notification. This pre-application informational neighborhood meeting is solely intended to provide information to interested parties and to allow such parties to provide comments, information regarding the project and proposed aesthetic and design options for the company to consider. The City will not consider options modified or rejected by the carrier as part of its process. City of Portland Administrative Rule UTL-3.07.
