Street Standards
Streetscape design standards were developed to address environmental considerations, neighborhood speeding, traffic reduction, and neighborhood livability.
Substandard Street Improvements
The substandard street improvement permit allows residents of an existing neighborhood to grade and/or pave their street.
Local Improvement Districts (LID)
The LID is a method that allows a group of property owners to share the cost of street improvements. In addition, the City provides a long-term, low-interest financing to help property owners pay for improvements in a manner that they can afford.
Street Improvement Permits
The public street improvement permit program supports new development / re-development projects. The City requires developers to make certain public street improvements in conjunction with construction projects on private property.
