TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Bridge resurfacing to close NE 42nd Avenue four days
New epoxy coating will provide a skid and water resistant surface
PORTLAND, Ore.- The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that Northeast 42nd Avenue from Northeast Holman Street to Northeast Columbia Boulevard will be closed all hours and all days beginning Tuesday, September 25, at 8 a.m. through Friday, September 28, at 3 p.m. for bridge resurfacing. Crews will apply an epoxy coating to provide a skid and water resistant surface for the bridge and extend its life.
The traveling public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously in the work zone, and observe detours and directions by flaggers.
Northbound traffic on NE 42nd Avenue will be detoured onto NE Lombard Street, NE 60th Avenue and NE Columbia Boulevard. Southbound traffic on NE 42nd and 47th avenues will be detoured onto NEColumbia Boulevard, NE 60th Avenue and NE Lombard Street. Eastbound traffic on NE Lombard Street exiting at NE 42nd Avenue to access NE Columbia Boulevard will be detoured onto NE 42nd Avenue, NE Killingsworth Street and NE 60th Avenue. See detour map.
