Riding on a protected bikewayAsk the Experts about World-Class Bikeways
 
Martha Roskowski, Director of Bikes Belong Foundation’s Green Lane Project, and a group of local transportation officials will discuss bikeway improvements from international and local perspectives.
 
Portland is one of six focus cities selected to be a part of the Green Lane Project, which works to support building world-class cycling networks.  Roskowski will lead the discussion focusing on national and international developments in bicycling transportation and how Portland can learn from those advances.
 
The evening will include a short video about innovative bicycle infrastructure in Europe, shown “cinema interruptus” style.   You'll be able to pause the viewing at any point to ask the panel questions.
 
Presented by the Portland Bureau of Transportation, a community partner in shaping a livable city. We plan, build, manage and maintain an effective and safe transportation system that provides people and businesses access and mobility. We keep Portland moving.
