If your proposed work has an impact on sidewalk accessibility, your traffic control plan needs to show how you will maintain a safe, ADA-compliant pedestrian walkway.  Rather than closing a sidewalk and detouring pedestrians, look at alternatives including overhead protection (i.e. scaffolding or other pedestrian tunnel) or creating a protected walkway in the on-street parking spaces.  Here’s a link with some helpful planning information:

By avoiding pedestrian detours and maintaining safe pedestrian accessibility adjacent to construction sites, you can help PBOT meet our Vision Zero goals.
