Generally the design standards used in the land use and building permit processes are also used for street improvements constructed through the Local Improvement District process. These standards incorporate the Residential Street Standards of 1991; the Bicycle Design Guidelines adopted in 1996; and the Pedestrian Design Guide adopted in 1998.
