Portland By Cycle Autumn Ride series

 Get that great “I just rode my bike” feeling all-year-round!

Keep your Bike Commute Challenge momentum, practice riding in all kinds of weather, make new friends, and have a little fun while learning something new.

All rides are easy-paced, FREE, and no pre-registration is required.  But you must wear your helmet.   We’ll ride rain or shine – always with smiles for our umbrellas! 


Explore SW Portland ride

Sat,  Oct. 19,   10 am;  PSU Bike Hub, 1818 SW 6th Ave

We'll climb a few more hills than usual to uncover the secrets of Southwest Portland - and test our shifting skills.

Explore North Portland ride

Sat,  Oct. 26,  10 am;  Holladay Park, NE Multnomah between 11th & 13th

This ride shows off an abundance of Neighborhood Greenways and hidden neighborhood treasures.

 

Explore SE Portland ride

Sat,  Nov. 16,  10 am;  Universal Cycles, SE Ankeny & 22nd

We'll use this ride to practice wet-weather riding, and see some unique corners of Portland.

Explore NE Portland ride

Sat,  Nov. 23,  10 am;  Holladay Park, NE Multnomah between 11th & 13th

Take a tour of Northeast's verdant parks while admiring fall colors or the pleasures biking through the rain.

Sat, Nov. 23, 10:00 a.m. - All-Season Cycling class at the Fix-it Fair, Parkrose High School, 12003 NE Shaver St - Portland By Cycle's Jeff Smith will cover the ins and outs of keeping rain out when you don't want to stay in. Sorry, same time as our Explore NE ride.
