Customer Service

  • Register online for our new Customer Self Service system If you have not registered for our new Customer Self Service system, it will be necessary to complete account registration even if you had a login with our previous view/pay bill website.

  • Meter Readers Electronic meter reading devices assist staff in gathering billing information. Please keep access to your meter clear.

  • Pay Your Bill By Phone Call 503-823-7770. Call Center staff is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

  • Downtown Customer Service Pay your bill in person at our downtown location, 1120 SW 5th Avenue.

Customer Alert

The offices of City of Portland Customer Service will be closed due to inclement weather on Thursday December 8, 2016. This includes both the Customer Service Call Center and the Customer Service Walk-In Service Center located on the first floor at 1120 SW Fifth Avenue, Portland, Oregon.

Payments can be made online or by calling 503-823-7770 and pressing 1. 

You can also leave a payment in the Water Bureau's night box located at 1120 S.W. Fifth Ave. to the left of the building's front doors.
