Also available in:

Recent water quality analyses

Three times a year the Water Bureau produces the Triannual report with current water quality results.

Bull Run Source Water Assessment

As required by the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Source Water Assessment identifies the potential contaminants of concern in the Bull Run water supply.

Water Quality of Bull Run Compared to Groundwater

On August 6, 2012, the Portland Water Bureau plans to begin a maintenance operation of the Columbia South Shore Well Field, which will contribute a small amount of groundwater at 3% or less of total demand to the distribution system. The operation, which is carried out to ensure supply reliability, is expected to last about two or three weeks, at which time water served will return to 100% Bull Run supply. This report contains the expected water quality of Portland's drinking water.
