The Portland Water Bureau reports that a portion of the south end of Northeast Rocky Butte Road between the 2600 - 2800 blocks will be closed on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Motorists will be able to access the area from the north end of Rocky Butte Road.

The closure is necessary for the Water Bureau to tie-in the new 4-inch water distribution main that was installed in late September.

The public is advised to travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and work zone signage, and use alternate routes.
