The Portland Water Bureau reports that a section of the south end of NE Rocky Butte Road, between the 2600 and 2800 blocks, will be closed on Tuesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 17, 2012, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Motorists will be able to access the area from the north end of Rocky Butte Road.

The road closure is necessary for the Water Bureau to connect to the water system a new 4-inch diameter distribution pipeline that was installed in September.

The public is advised to use alternate travel routes and obey all work zone signs.
