Repairs to a ruptured large steel water distribution pipe requires the continued closure of one of the eastbound lanes of West Burnside Street, just east of the Pittock Mansion turnoff. One lane going west and one lane going east on that section of West Burnside Street are open. Traffic controls are in Portland Water Bureau crews hope to have the repairs completed by mid-day tomorrow.

The public is advised to travel cautiously, obey all lane closures and work zone signage, and use alternate routes.
