A water main break has closed the right-hand east-bound lane on NE Columbia Boulevard east of NE Argyle Drive for approximately 100 feet. A water main break has caused pooled water and muddy debris, which will be cleaned by street sweepers as soon as possible. Traffic safety cones are in place to direct drivers around the one-lane road closure.

A Portland Water Bureau crew has already repaired the main break. There are no service disruptions due to this main break. Please report any “dirty water” to the bureau’s 24/7 water quality hot line: (503) 823-7525.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area for the rest of the day or until the road has been cleaned.
