Water-Efficient Plants for Gardeners in the Willamette Valley

One of the central tenets of water-wise landscaping is choosing the right plant for the right place. This is done by understanding how sun, shade, and soils vary across different areas in your landscape and by grouping plants with similar watering needs.

To help choose the right plants for your yard, download, pick up, or request a copy of the Water-Efficient Plant guide. It is a colorful guide designed to make choosing water-efficient trees, shrubs, perennials, and ground covers easy! Please note that it includes both native and non-native (but well adapted) plants to our region.
