Enforcement Program

BES Enforcement Program Administrative Rules, ENB-4.15 give the Portland Bureau of Environmental Services authority to take enforcement action and assess civil penalties for violations of environmental rules that protect City of Portland resources, public health and safety, and the environment.

Environmental Services also recognizes industries that consistently comply with all their permit requirements.
