On March 5, 2015, City Council voted to adopt the West Quadrant Plan. The adoption by City Council followed a two-year planning process in which the diverse 33-member Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) worked with interested community members and land use and transportation planners to develop the plans. The plans were adopted by resolution, indicating the City Council’s support for their recommendations. Specific recommendations in the West Quadrant Plan will go into effect once the entire Central City 2035 Plan (the update of the 1988 Central City Plan) is complete, expected in 2016.
