Find out what is going on in your neighborhood and with the City of Portland's world renowned neighborhood system.  The Calendar of Events is where you will find information about upcoming neighborhood meetings, community events and volunteer opportunities.  Events are listed by district so you can look at all the events going on in the city or just for your part of town. 

ONI Blog will give you the latest news regarding the City's Office of Neighborhood Involvement as well as other items of interest to community members involved in the neighborhood network or if you prefer you can get this same information by following us on Facebook or Twitter.   News in the Neighborhoods will connect you to the Neighborhood Coalition's websites for news and information particular to their geographic area of the city.

    Last chance to RSVP - SE Uplift and East Portland Neighborhood Office co-host a Traffic Safety Action-shop, Thurs. Feb. 23. For neighbors interested in addressing a transportation or traffic issue close to your heart.

    Fanno Pressure Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: February 16, 2017

    This project will replace 19 maintenance access structures in nine locations in the Garden Home area, as well as install a pressure monitoring and recording system station off SW Railroad Street. These upgrades will ensure that the Fanno Basin Sewer System will continue to handle all wastewater flows year-round and provide better monitoring of the entire sewer system in the area. It will protect public health and the health of the Fanno Creek Watershed.

    Reminder: Night work for courthouse will impact traffic

    Underground utility night work has begun for Multnomah County’s new Central Courthouse at the west end of the Hawthorne Bridge. Sewer lines need to be relocated before excavation can begin for the courthouse on the block bordered by SW Jefferson, SW Naito Parkway, SW First Ave., and SW Madison St. In-street construction will be performed at night to reduce impacts on commuters.
