In 2018, voters approved a $652.8 million affordable housing bond measure to create affordable homes across Washington, Clackamas, and Multnomah counties. Metro is working with local partners and communities to bring 3,900 new affordable homes to 12,000 people, including seniors, working families, veterans and people living with disabilities. The Metro Council has appointed a community oversight committee to provide independent, transparent oversight of implementation. Quarterly meetings are open to the public.
