Traffic Safety Resources

Bling Your Thing!

Does your community need reflective stickers for their gear?

Boy with reflective stickers on sleeves in front of Vision Zero table

Darker days bring a greater risk of crashes. To help make us all more visible, we'll be providing retro-reflective stickers that you can apply to outerwear, strollers, backpacks, bikes, helmets, canes, or walkers.

Retro-reflective stickers increase the visibility of pedestrians when crossing the street, moving through parking lots, waiting for the bus, etc. by directing light from vehicle headlights back to vehicle drivers. Invite Portland Bureau of Transportation to bring retro-reflective stickers to your event and staff a table demonstrating how the stickers are applied to coats, backpacks, wheelchairs, strollers, bike helmets, etc. – or – Portland Bureau of Transportation will provide retro-reflective stickers directly to community partners for distribution to their clients.

If you have questions about these events or would like to host a reflective sticker outreach event, please email Sharon.White@portlandoregon.gov
