The Halsey-Weidler Streetscape Project is finished! Please join Commissioner Chloe Eudaly and PBOT Director Chris Warner as we cut the ribbon on the Halsey-Weidler Streetscape Project! The event is this Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 10-10:30 a.m. at the “East Entry Triangle” -- the new public plaza at 112th between Halsey and Weidler.
Project Background and Description
The Halsey-Weidler Streetscape Project is a joint project between Prosper Portland and the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The goal of the Halsey-Weidler Streetscape Project is to improve safety, operations and, access for all modes (walking, biking, transit and, driving).
The project also aims to help support the economic development of the Halsey-Weidler business area within the Gateway District and identity of the surrounding neighborhood. Improvements will be constructed on NE Halsey and NE Weidler between NE 102nd and 112th Avenues.
