(August 30, 2013) – The City of Portland Bureauof Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require closing one lane at a time on September 3^rd from NE Marine Drive between NE 13th Avenue through NE 33rd Drive.  The work will involve using a paving grinder to take off approximately 1/4" of asphalt to smooth out the rough pavement and improve driving conditions.

The public is advised to expect delays while repairs are made.  The work and lane closure will take place from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe the lane closure and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

Local access to residences and businesses will be provided. This work is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.
