6201-01 Emergency Management Incident Reports

Series are used to document specific action taken during an emergency operation. Records are the shift record used during the plan operation and document who did what. Record is the operation plan developed and any after action reports. Operation plan includes details of assignments during operation procedures and contains a summary of action, briefing records, incident objectives, weather forecast, general assignment lists, communications plan and medical plan.

Retention: 2 years - minor incidents; Permanent - major incidents.

6201-02 Emergency Planning Records

Series are used to document and develop plans to be used by the Maintenance Bureau during times of emergency or hazardous conditions. Records are created to document general bureau policy during emergency periods. Records are the operational plan, maps and other records used to develop general plans to be used in case of emergency. Plans cover aspects such as Snow and Ice, Volcano's, Floods, Fire and other General Disasters.

Retention: Until superseded
