 Environmental Litigation Attorney
 

 

Salary:                     $115,378 to $152,276 Annually

Opening Date:         02/11/2019 

Closing Date:          03/15/2019

 

THE POSITION:

The Portland City Attorney’s Office is seeking applications for a litigation attorney to work with its Portland Harbor Superfund Site team.  Position requires a minimum of seven years of experience including coordinating complex litigation preferably including environmental litigation. Familiarity with environmental law issues is preferred.  Position will involve complex multi-party negotiations, liability allocation, written and oral advocacy, review of technical documents and working with an interdisciplinary project team. Salary depending upon experience. 

 Applicants must also possess:

  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Oregon State Bar Membership, in good standing, or membership in good standing in the Bar of another jurisdiction, with the ability to obtain Oregon State Bar Membership.
