The City Attorney delivered a ballot title to the Auditor today for prospective initiative petition ID PDX 14.  The ballot title caption for this prospective initiative petition, which is intended for the November 2008 General Election ballot, is: "Provides City-funded health insurance for Portland's public school children."

The City Auditor has determined this measure meets the single-subject requirements of Article IV, Sect 1 of the Oregon Constitution.  An elector may file a petition for review of this ballot title in the Multnomah County Circuit Court no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2008.
