The City Elections Office received a prospective initiative petition filing, assigned PDX 01 and titled "Decriminalization of Natural Psychedelics". The prospective petition is aimed at the November 3, 2020 General Election and proposes a change to the City Charter. 

The City Auditor's Office is currently reviewing the petition for Constitutional requirements and will make a determination by November 1, 2019. If the petition is found to be in compliance with the requirements, the City Attorney's Office will then draft a ballot title.
