Payment for candidates filing for the upcoming November election is only accepted during the open filing period. See Run for City Office for date details. Any payments submitted outside of the filing window will be refunded.

Refunds may only be issued in the event of candidacy withdrawal received by the withdrawal deadline, overpayment, duplicate payments, or if a payment was made in error. Refund requests may be submitted in writing by emailing elections@portlandoregon.gov or mailing a request to the City Elections Office, 1221 SW 4th Ave., Rm 130, Portland, OR 97204. Refund requests will be processed within seven business days.
