Alexandra D. Fercak - Performance Auditor II

Alexandra joined the Portland Audit Services Division in 2009, after working for three and a half years at the Oregon Secretary of State's Audits Division. While at the State Audits Division she worked on performance audit projects, ranging from capital construction audits to an audit of the Oregon juvenile justice system and the use of state bonds for research at Oregon Health & Science University.
While at the City, Alexandra has led various performance audits that included City’s compliance with payment card data security standards, governance of technology projects, multimodal street projects review and regulation of short-term rentals.
She is a member of the Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She served on the Board of Directors of ALGA and ISACA Willamette Valley Chapter.
Alexandra holds a Master of Public Administration degree and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Portland State University. She grew up in former Czechoslovakia and Switzerland, and currently lives in downtown Portland.
