On December 21, 2016, City Council voted unanimously to amend Portland’s Zoning Code and Housing Code to implement an Inclusionary Housing Program. The new Inclusionary Housing (IH) Program requirements go into effect on February 1, 2017.
The City’s Bureau of Development Services (BDS) and Bureau of Technology Services (BTS) are co-sponsors of the initiative to update the City's legacy permitting and case management software system. Beginning February 1, 2017, the City’s permitting software program will begin to expire and void trade permits that are inactive in accordance with state and local codes.
The Advanced Permit Search Function went live in October 2016 with our building permit records and now allows customized searches of enforcement case records filtered by type, neighborhoods, and date range.
