BDS will only accept the deferred submittals after the main building permit has been issued. As of Feb. 1, 2018 BDS is discontinuing any practice of allowing the deferred submittal to be turned in while the main permit is still under review.

The State of Oregon’s Building Codes Division (BCD) released new editions of the Oregon Residential Specialty Code, Oregon Electrical Specialty Code and the Oregon Plumbing Code. Any permits issued in 2018 must meet the new code requirements, which took effect on Jan. 1, 2018.
