In March, the DRAC heard presentations from several development review bureaus regarding their Requested Budgets for fiscal year (FY) 2013-14, including Water Bureau, Environmental Services, and Parks. DRAC members also discussed proposed changes to the plan review process related to BDS’s Information Technology Advancement Project (ITAP).
At the April DRAC meeting, BDS’s strategic plan consultant (Mark Fulop) facilitated a discussion with DRAC members regarding BDS’s ongoing strategic planning process. The DRAC also heard an update on parking-related amendments to the Zoning Code that were recently approved by City Council.

DRAC Happenings highlights the activities of the City’s Development Review Advisory Committee (DRAC). The DRAC is the City’s primary advisory body regarding development review. The DRAC’s 17 members represent groups with interests in the outcome of policies, budgets, regulations, and procedures that affect development review processes.
The purpose of the DRAC is to foster a timely, predictable and accountable development review process that implements the City's goals for land use, transportation, housing, economic development, neighborhood livability and the environment. The DRAC advocates for and supports consistent and fair application and implementation of regulations.
