Over the last few weeks, consultants from Coraggio Group have been analyzing feedback from individual and focus group meetings with BDS employees. On July 28, 2015, BDS held a Bureau Assessment Orientation meeting to give employees a more formal introduction to the assessment process and a progress update.
A team from Coraggio have also been meeting with the Bureau Assessment Advisory Committee (composed of BDS employees and managers) to discuss an initial draft summary of their findings. Committee members have engaged in lively discussions regarding the findings and their significance for employees and for the bureau as an organization.
The Advisory Committee will meet again on September 8, 2015 to continue working through the consultants’ findings and give shape to recommendations for the bureau going forward. The final recommendations will focus on enhancing operational effectiveness, strengthening morale and teamwork, and aligning the bureau’s structure with staffing and service delivery goals.
