BDS completed work on a draft strategic plan in 2014, but implementation was delayed in order to allow other organizational improvement processes to be completed, including an employee survey, an organizational assessment, and a customer survey. These processes have been substantially completed and resulting changes are being implemented throughout the organization.
We now intend to update the strategic plan to reflect and incorporate the results of the other organizational improvement processes. We will be assisted in this process by Mark Fulop (Facilitation & Process), who helped us put together the draft plan in 2014. We will begin assembling staff workgroups and scheduling meetings to work on the plan shortly. We will also be seeking input from our key advisory and stakeholder groups. We intend to formally launch the strategic plan later this spring.
