As many of you know, BDS began work on a new strategic plan in 2008, prior to the last recession. Work on the plan ceased during the recession but was resumed in 2012. A final draft plan was produced in 2014, but implementation was delayed in order to allow other organizational improvement processes to be completed, including an employee survey, an organizational assessment, and a customer survey. Now that these processes have been substantially completed, we are ready to take up the strategic plan again.
We are updating the strategic plan to reflect and incorporate the results of the other organizational improvement processes, and have officially launched work on the plan. We will be assisted in this process by Mark Fulop (Facilitation & Process), who helped us put together the draft plan in 2014.

To help BDS employees as well as customers and stakeholders re-engage with the strategic plan, we will be re-forming groups that worked on each of the plan’s focus areas and seeking input from our key advisory groups.
