A draft of a new 5-year strategic plan was initially produced in 2014, but implementation was delayed in order to allow other organizational improvement processes to be completed, including an employee survey, an organizational assessment, a customer survey, and the bureau’s Equity Roadmap. These processes have been substantially completed and resulting changes are being implemented throughout the bureau.
Throughout 2016 we made updates to the draft Strategic Plan to reflect and incorporate the results of the other organizational improvement processes, and in December we began rolling out a draft executive summary of the Plan out to employees. After this process is complete, we’ll take employees’ feedback and make final edits to the Plan.
The final Plan will be publicly released in Spring 2017.
