September 21, 2017 DRAC Meeting
At their September meeting, DRAC members discussed the implementation of Senate Bill (SB) 871 and a proposed ordinance related to mechanical demolitions and abatement of lead and asbestos. Members also heard updates on various BDS and City projects, including the Portland Online Permitting System (POPS), Residential Infill, and Inclusionary Housing.
October 19, 2017 DRAC Meeting
The DRAC welcomed three new members at their October meeting:

With these positions filled, one vacant position remains on the DRAC, representing Small Businesses (see below).
In addition to welcoming new members, the DRAC continued their discussion of Inclusionary Housing regulations and SB 871. DRAC members also discussed the DRAC Work Plan and priorities for the next year.
Next DRAC Meeting November 16, 2017
The DRAC’s next meeting will be on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. Proposed agenda items include:
- SB 871 / Lead & Asbestos
- Transportation Demand Management Plan Requirement in Mixed Use Zones
- Local Transportation Infrastructure Charge (LTIC) / Neighborhood Streets Program
- DRAC Work Plan / Annual DRAC Report to City Council
DRAC Meetings Back in the 1900 Building
From May – October 2017, the DRAC met in the CH2M Building (2020 SW 4th) to accommodate the remodel of Room 2500 in the 1900 Building (1900 SW 4th). The remodel has been completed, and the DRAC moved back to Room 2500 B for its meeting on Thursday, October 19th.
