February 21, 2019 DRAC Meeting
BDS brought a financial update to the DRAC along with details on its proposal to increase land use fees in FY 2019-20. The DRAC discussed proposed code and policy/process changes that impact development review, including the timing of commercial building and mechanical permit issuance; simple bathroom permits; and BPS’s Residential Infill Project. DRAC members also began a discussion on the role of the DRAC and the establishment of a workplan for 2019 and beyond.
March 21, 2019 DRAC Meeting
The DRAC welcomed its newest member: Sean Green, representing Citywide Neighborhood Interests. Sean brings a combination of extensive experience with both neighborhood associations and the development process. DRAC members continued their discussions of the timing of commercial building and mechanical permits and the role of the committee, and heard an update on BPS’s Design Overlay Zone Amendments (DOZA) project.
April 18, 2019 DRAC Meeting
Several of the bureaus (Parks, Environmental Services, Water, and BDS) involved in development review presented information on proposed fee changes for FY 2019-20. DRAC members continued their discussion of the role of the DRAC and the establishment of a workplan.

The next DRAC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2019. Likely agenda items include:
- Fee changes (Transportation and Urban Forestry)
- DRAC workplan

DRAC Happenings highlights the activities of the City’s Development Review Advisory Committee (DRAC). The DRAC is the City’s primary advisory body regarding development review. The DRAC’s members represent groups with interests in the outcome of policies, budgets, regulations, and procedures that affect development review processes.
The purpose of the DRAC is to foster a timely, predictable and accountable development review process that implements the City's goals for land use, transportation, housing, economic development, neighborhood livability and the environment. The DRAC advocates for and supports consistent and fair application and implementation of regulations.
