  • Spring Garden Park Environmental Services daylighted over 300 feet of a seasonal stream in Spring Garden Park

  • Terraced Rain Garden Construction Environmental Services and ODOT are turning some underused highway right-of-way land into rain gardens to help protect Tryon Creek

About one-fifth of the watershed is parks and open space, including the Tryon Creek State Natural Area. Tryon Creek and its tributaries also run through several popular Portland parks, including Marshall Park, West Portland Park, and Maricara Park.

Environmental Services and many partners are working to improve the health of Tryon Creek and its watershed.
