Environmental Services is accepting pre-applications for 2019-2020 projects.
Community Watershed Stewardship Program provides grants of up to $12,000 to help Portlanders create positive change in their neighborhoods and communities, while also improving the health of our urban environment. For more information about the kinds of projects CWSP funds, see our Case Studies and Annual Reports.
Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:
Those interested in applying for a CWSP grant submit a grant pre-application with a short summary of the proposed project.
The CWSP Selection Committee reviews the pre-applications and invites selected applicants to submit a full application. Grants will be awarded based on full application review.
For comprehensive information about the application process including full instructions, selection criteria, and resources, see the Grant Guide.
CWSP is committed to supporting applicants throughout this process, so don’t let limited grant-writing or environmental experience stop you from applying!
All application materials are provided through the links at the bottom of this page. If you would like copies of these materials mailed to you, contact us.
If you have questions about the grant program or past projects, or have an idea for a project of your own, contact the Stewardship Coordinator at 503-823-7917 or send a message to the CWSP team.
