The City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services is continuing our work to repair and replace critical sewer and stormwater infrastructure. Environmental Services will continue to provide information and updates on construction schedules and activities during the COVID-19 emergency.
Environmental Services is continuing to design a project in a portion of the Ladd’s Addition neighborhood to install, replace, and upsize approximately 3,500 feet of public sewer pipes. Environmental Services is also proposing to construct 16 green street planters to manage stormwater runoff from streets, roofs and parking lots. The sewer and stormwater improvements will increase sewer capacity, manage stormwater more naturally, and reduce the risks of street flooding and sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.
Construction for the Ladd’s Green Street and Sewer Project is not expected to start before spring 2021.
